Electricity, district heating and broadband are the main products for residential customers.
Electricity
Everyone of us uses electricity everyday. In our hydropower stations, combined heat-and-power-plants and windpower station, we generate about 30% of the amount sold to our customers. 70% is bought from other producers.
District heating
About half of Jönköping's estate and business areas is heated with district heating. More than 90% of the heat is recycled energy, biofuel or excess heat. Only a small amount oil is used since our heat-and-power-plant was taken into operation.
Broadband
With WetterNet, you get a super-fast and super-safe broadband connection. Both companies and private housings are connected to WetterNet, where they choose which service operator suits their needs the best.
District cooling
With help of Lake Vättern, we produce and distribute district cooling to a number of customers, mainly office buildings. During 2009, we will also take into operation an absorption heat pump, which will convert excess heating från our Waste-to-Energy Plant Torsvik into district cooling.
